Human rights will be one of several high points on the agenda as the European Parliament's committees meet from 28 September to 2 October. Nominations will be presented for the EP's Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought and a public hearing will put a spotlight on the situation in Russia. Other points of interest include a vote on road transport working time and a discussion of the Baltic Sea strategy.
